Do I need any prior experience or qualifications to enroll?
No prior experience is required for most courses. Our programs are designed for beginners as well as those with some background. We start with the basics and guide you step by step. All you need is a passion for beauty and the willingness to learn.
How long are your courses, and do you offer part-time options?
Course durations vary. Short courses (focusing on one skill like Makeup or Nail Technology) might last a few weeks, while comprehensive programs (like a full Cosmetology or Hairdressing diploma) can run several months to a year or more. We do offer flexible schedules – some classes meet during weekdays, and others may have weekend or evening sessions for part-time students. When you contact us or visit to enroll, we’ll share the timetable options for the specific course you’re interested in.
Will I get a certificate when I finish the course?
Yes! Upon successful completion of each course, you will receive a certificate from Tyrone’s Cosmetology Centre. For our longer programs, you can earn an official Diploma. Our certificates and diplomas are well-regarded in Zimbabwe’s beauty industry. They prove that you’ve been trained and tested in your skills, which can help you when applying for jobs or starting your own business.
What are the course fees, and do you offer payment plans?
Course fees depend on the program and its duration. We strive to keep our tuition affordable and competitive. In many cases, we do allow payment in installments to make it easier for students to manage financially. When you get in touch with us, we’ll provide a detailed fee schedule for the course you’re interested in, including any available payment plan options.
When can I start?
We have multiple intakes throughout the year. Enrolment is currently open for the next session. It’s best to register as soon as possible to secure your spot in the upcoming classes. If you miss an intake, don’t worry – you can join the following one. We’ll let you know all the important dates (course start dates, registration deadlines, etc.) when you contact us.
